WEEK3	January  21st to January  25th	*Unit page 2 (page 20-36) of Mastering Arabic, Book 2 by Wightwick, J and Mahmoud, G (Palgrave Macmillan, 2007). *Topic 2 in build your Arabic Vocabulary by Shirwani, H (GW Publishing, 2007). *teacher’s own materials with reference to the Minimum Core Vocabulary List (mcvl) from Appendix 5 in Edexcel GCSE in Arabic: Teacher Guide (from 2009)
WEEK4	January  28th  to February  1st	Teacher and students engage in classroom activity: random volunteered individual speaking test.
WEEK5	February  4th  to February  8th	Students undertake classroom activities : making posters, powerpoint  presentations, illustrations to help the assimilation of new vocabulary, working in pairs groups in role play
WEEK6	February  11th  to February 15th	Practice sheet Doing exercises : a. filling in the blanks. b. Pointing out some words. c. Vocalizing words and sentences.
WEEK7	February  18th  to February  22nd	Students practice reading comprehension. Students practice speaking Students practice listening comprehension. Students practice writing(short tasks):postcards; advertisements with reference to holidays and the environment.
WEEK8	February  25th  to March  1st	Teacher gives oral tests throughout the week
WEEK9	March  4th  to March  8th	Test
