As you can see my lesson plans below
for the whole week. That’s how I see the lesson plans should be. I mean we
should plan for the quarter ahead. At least week by week. I also share with my
students the objectives of my plans for the whole week. That will help them to
get their work started and not to wait. They will always find something to work
on. I explained almost everything that I do in the class in my lesson plans,
but I also can add some thing general that I use with all classes.
I always start my class with a daily
quiz. The quiz will take only 5 to 8 minutes, not more than this. The purpose
is to know how much students are following in the class, and to measure their
progress. I then start to put them in groups, and we start the lesson. I use
technology almost evryday by showing them videos related to the lesson. I give
students tasks to work on togeteher in groups or with their partners. I also
give them some activities to do in class. I really don’t depend on homework
that much because I try to get them to do it in class, and you can see the rest
I do in the chart that has my lesson plans below.
